Kate Griffiths is the founder and Director of Whole Self Leadership with over 15 years experience within the Private, Public and Voluntary Sector where the focus of her work has been on helping leaders change organisations. This has included strategy development, stakeholder engagement and project management. Resounding themes include the importance of balancing the need to meet tight deadlines with longer term considerations such as making the organisation a great place to work.
Today Kate and her associates help executives and leaders reap the benefits from developing a style of inclusive and collaborative leadership. The shift to inclusivity and collaboration requires trust and a level of risk taking but it can unlock creative potential and in so doing make the business more profitable. When it works people from the top team down to the frontline staff feel more vitally connected to the work that they are doing and act as leaders within their own area.
Kate is passionate about Diversity and has focused on developing women in business in particular. Whilst at PricewaterhouseCoopers she set up the first Women's Network in the UK. She recently agreed to become a mentor with the Network of Black Professionals and is particularly interested in encouraging women's leadership development. She also writes regularly for a number of publications such as Nubia.
